Southport Theatre & Conference Centre
The Southport Theatre & Conference Centre is one of the most attractive and versatile conference and entertainment venues in Merseyside.
Its facilities include the spacious theatre auditorium and the conference centre can seat up to 6,000 people if necessary for an exhibition.
However, it can also accommodate smaller groups of people (250-700) when necessary for meetings, functions, conferences and dinner events.
Over the last few years, the Southport conference centre has held very big events for UKIP, The Rotary Club and The Salvation Army.
The centre has already been booked to hold a number of events over the next year for the following groups:
- The Brotherhood of Magicians
- Cattle vets
- The Institute of Actuaries
- The National Union of Journalists
- The national Federation of Retail Agents
- The Institute of Archaeologists
- A police seminar
- A big salsa event.
It can easily put on shows and events that are of a national standard and it is always keen to support charities.
The hotel near the Southport Theatre & Conference Centre, is an ideal location to use as a base when visiting the conference centre, allowing for a seamless transition from the hotel to the facility.
The Merseyside hotel also has a very strong relationship with the conference centre and often organises special joint deals. For example, a pantomime package is in the pipeline for this year, which will be held in the theatre that can contain about 600 people.
Some of the famous acts that have performed at the centre in the past include the likes of Ricky Tomlinson, Jimmy Carr and an Abba tribute band. Find out more about entertainment at the Southport Theatre & Conference Centre for the rest of the year.
